The Jumelles de Mer necklace shows twin sisters of the sea, their heads touching and their long hair streaming behind them as they lift their faces toward the surface. Between them falls a single black onyx drop, like a shared tear. Its form recalls Georgian and Victorian necklaces, when jewellery was worn as a keepsake, close to the heart. Thoughtfully hand-sculpted using an ancient Japanese technique called Mitsuro Hikime to create organic shape and texture.
