Oyster with Pearl
Description
A small sculptural object.
A vintage pearl rests inside an open oyster shell drawn in sterling silver wire. I drew the wire by hand and fabricated each ring of the shell one by one, layering the lines so they read like the growth ridges of an oyster. Light passes through the open structure, so the pearl appears almost suspended.
